Terms and conditions of use

Ownership and Use of Information

All written and visual content on this website is the exclusive property of Capri Boat Experience. This material may not be copied, printed, or shared with third parties without prior authorization.

Itineraries and Activities

All tours, transfers, and activities are conducted by qualified staff. While on board, all instructions and orders given by the crew must be followed at all times to ensure the safety of the guests, crew, and company property.

The standard duration of tours is seven (7) hours from the time of embarkation unless otherwise specified. Transfers are carried out in the shortest possible time, based on distance and weather conditions.

Route changes are permitted but may incur additional fees, which must be agreed upon and paid in advance.

Bookings, Prices and Invoicing

All bookings are subject to availability. Prices are final upon confirmation and cannot be adjusted to match earlier or later promotional rates. Published prices do not include meals or any items not expressly listed in the “Included” section.

Booking a tour or transfer does not guarantee a specific boat. You’re welcome to let us know your preferred model at no extra cost, and we’ll do our best to accommodate it based on availability. If you’d like to reserve a specific boat, this can be arranged for an additional fee - you can check prices for each boat (fuel excluded) in the Fleet section.

Invoices will be issued only upon explicit request and provided that all necessary tax information is supplied in accordance with applicable laws.

Reasonable exceptions (e.g., 5 large suitcases and 2 small ones) may be allowed at no extra charge, if communicated in advance. Items will not be counted as luggage if all the following are true:

  • Weigh less than 10 kg
  • Measure less than 55x40x20 cm
  • Can be carried by hand or on the shoulder
  • Are made of soft materials (as assessed by our staff)
  • Do not have any sharp, metallic, or dangerous components

In general, reasonably sized handbags, purses, and backpacks are not considered pieces of luggage. Strollers are considered pieces of luggage.

The Comfort XL boats and the relative prices are only available for Napoli to Capri Transfers, and for Capri to Napoli Transfers.

Customer Health and Wellbeing

During tours and transfers customers might be exposed to:

  • high temperatures - due to sun exposure
  • sunburns and peeling - due to sun exposure and sea water
  • kinetic stresses - due to the impact of waves while sailing
  • skin and allergic reactions - due to sun exposure, wildlife, and/or specific foods

Our services are not suited for children under eighteen (18) months, people with severe health conditions or impairments, and people over eighty (80) years of age.

Moreover, our boats are not equipped with wheelchair ramps or other auxiliary means to help people with impairments get on board. Our boats are equipped with first aid kits and standard safety equipment for sea travel - life jackets, lighting devices and so on.

It is highly recommended to communicate any allergies and conditions which may lead to a health emergency on board. The client can bring prevention devices, safety systems, or medications on board designed for those specific allergies and/or conditions. The organization is not required to equip additional prevention devices, safety systems, or medications.

The organization declines all responsibility for the all circumstances indicated, namely: high temperatures, sunburns and peeling, kinetic stresses, skin and allergic reactions. The organization declines all responsibility for the use, missed use, or wrong use of any prevention devices, safety systems, or medications not included in the first aid kits and in the standard safety equipment for sea travel.

The organization declines all responsibility for damages caused by insubordination to the captain and reckless conduct. The organization declines all responsibility for damages occurring during the tour stops on land.

Pets and Animals on Board

Pets up to medium size - max twenty (20) kg, approximately the size of an adult Border Collie - are allowed on board. This specifically refers to:

  • domestic dog(s)
  • domestic cat(s)

The customer or the legal owner of the pet(s) must have either a pet muzzle, an animal carrier, or a cage - of the correct size and for each animal - suitable to the pets’ species. The pet does not need to wear the muzzle or to be confined in the animal carrier / cage unless specifically asked by a staff member.

Booking a tour with one or more larger pets - or with one or more exotic animals other than domestic dog(s) or domestic cat(s) - has to be communicated before booking any of our services. The organization may, at its sole discretion, give specific conditions to follow, apply a higher fee or issue the cancellation of the tour. The customer may either accept the new price or issue a cancellation as specified in the ‘Cancellation and Refund Policy’ below. The cancellation by the organization will be issued as specified in the ‘Cancellation and Refund Policy’ below.

Any damage caused by the animal(s) to the organization's property(s) will be attributed to either the legal owner of the animal(s) or the customer who booked the tour. As such, any damage to things or people will be assessed and charged as specified in the “Liability and Damage Assessment” paragraph.

Each pet counts toward the guest capacity, regardless of size. The organization might issue reasonable, slight exceptions on request to avoid additional charges.

Customer and Third-Party Delays

A 15-minute grace period applies to all our services. The organization does not issue refunds for late arrivals - only replacement services.

For Boat Tours: If the customer fails to show up at the scheduled departure time, the organization will make reasonable efforts to adjust the tour duration based on its schedule and availability.

For Boat Transfers (justified): In cases where a flight, cruise, or train is delayed, a replacement boat transfer will be guaranteed on the same date. This policy also applies to car transfers provided by the organization.

For Boat Transfers (unjustified): If the customer fails to show up at the scheduled departure time for reasons unrelated to the transportation delays mentioned above, the organization is not legally obligated to provide service and may, at its sole discretion, decide whether to offer a replacement boat transfer.

Liability and Damage Assessment

The organization is not responsible for damages caused by third parties or by force majeure. The organization is not liable for the loss of personal belongings or luggage during tours and transfers.

At the end of any service, our staff is authorized to inspect for potential damages. If damage is attributed to the client, the organization will assess damages and determine the appropriate reimbursement or charge.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations by the Customer:

  • At least ten (10) days before the booking date: full refund with no penalties
  • Between nine (9) days and seventy-two (72) hours: 50% refund (deposit not refunded)
  • Within seventy-two (72) hours: no refund

Once on board, no full or partial refunds will be issued for services not utilized.

Cancellations by the Organization:

If the organization cancels the booked service due to adverse weather or non-navigable conditions, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.

No refund if the customer or guests:

  • are not following the captain’s orders at all times
  • are putting at risk or damaging the organization’s property
  • are endangering the safety of any animal, person, or living being

Payment Method Commissions

A 5% surcharge applies to payments made through PayPal, Stripe, and similar platforms. Clients may request details and be refunded the difference. Requests must be made within thirty (30) days of the transaction.

Additional Charges and Penalties

Additional charges apply for extra services or night sailing (after 8:00 PM), and are calculated automatically by our website. Charges may also apply for services requested after the transaction.

Violations of the above rules may incur penalties.

Claims

Any claims must be submitted via email to info@capriboatexperience.com within ten (10) business days of the service date.

Booking implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. No refund will be issued if the customer claims to be unaware of the content, rules, or restrictions.
